Munson Lakes Nutrition Board of Governors
Jim Jackson - President, Arden Hills – Jim is an employee of Land O’ Lakes and is the Upper mid-West and Great lakes Region Director for Purina Animal Nutrition feed business. Jim has had a 39 year career with Land O’ Lakes serving in many sales and management roles. He grew up in Northwest Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University. Jim resides in Greenfield, Indiana.
Mark Mickolichek - Vice President, Silver Lake - Mark is currently serving as Secretary of the Glencoe Co-op Association Board and serves as Vice President on the Munson Lakes Nutrition Board
Mark and his wife, Patti, have four children and operate a farm four miles north of Silver Lake. Mark operates 600 acres of corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. He also has 300 head of feeder cattle and beef cows.
He has enjoys serving on the board in the interest of the patrons.
Dale Hegland - Board Secretary, General Manager of Glencoe Cooperative - Dale graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Animal Science. In 1979, he was hired by Glencoe Cooperative to be the Feed Manager and Regional Dairy Specialist. In 2001, the Board of Glencoe Cooperative hired Dale as General Manager and he also became Secretary on the Munson Lakes Nutrition Board of Directors. Dale is married and has 3 children and 9 grandkids.
Mike McMahon - Chief Executive Officer, Princeton - He began his career with Apex Oil Company in St. Louis, MO. From there he spent 12 years with Ralston Purina Company in St Louis and then 11 years with Frito-Lay in various high-level management & sales positions based in Minneapolis, MN. He was recruited to lead sales and operations at Tree of Life based in St. Augustine, FL. Tree of Life is a distributor of Natural and Organic products. Mike joined the Co-op from Schwan Home Service based in Marshall, MN where he managed $1B in revenue and services to over 1.8 million customers in 48 states. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BSBA-Finance.
Greg Gniffke - Governor, Cottonwood
Paul Berning - Govenor, St Michael -The Bernings have 350 milk cows and farm 600 acres of corn and alfalfa. Paul is a past STMA youth hockey and baseball board member, Wright County ADA, and 4-H project leader. Paul is currently on the Munson Lakes, Nutrition board of directors. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and an usher at St. Alberts Church. Paul is married to Stacy and they have four children: Blake, Brandon, Brady, and Isabelle.
